A teenage boy has thrown a bottle of milk over a group of young women from a bridge while they were trying to enjoy a peaceful afternoon with a picnic on a boat.

Melbourne woman Veronica Burgess shared footage of the aftermath of the milk attack on Sunday.

She and three friends had paid for a picnic on the Yarra River using a GoBoat rental but had an entire bottle of milk poured over them as they went under Evan Walker Bridge.

The women, as well as their food and handbags, were left completely covered in milk.

‘Would love to find the kid that ruined our day,’ Ms Burgess captioned the clip.

Footage showed the distraught group shaking milk off their speaker and while worrying they were ‘going to stink’.

Thousands of Aussies blasted the attackers for spoiling the women’s day out.

‘That’s so mean. I’d cry,’ one said.

‘So sorry this happened to you. Shame on that person!,’ another wrote.

The young boy who attacked the woman uploaded a video of the incident to TikTok, bragging about the ‘milking incident.’

The complete disregard for the women blew commenters away with one writing, ‘Did your parents not teach you manners?’.

‘Why would you do this? So shameful, I hope the police get involved,’ one wrote.

‘Bet your parents will be proud,’ another wrote.

‘It’s so mean. He ruined the party and their food. Their clothes are sticky now so they can’t go about their planned day instead have to go home and change,’ another said.

A fourth person commented: ‘Those people on the boat had their whole day ruined for views.’

Viewers rushed to report the boy’s video to try and get ahead of ‘milking’ becoming a trend.

Fortunately for the four women, GoBoat gave them credit to rent another boat on a different day and helped clean the mess.

‘GoBoat were so great and helpful about the situation. They helped clean us up so we could go home,’ Ms Burgess said.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted GoBoat and Veronica Burgess for comment.
