Why don't the police stop him? The 18-year-old TikTok 'prankster' films himself randomly breaking into family homes and posts videos of himself harassing women, stealing dogs and jumping into strangers' cars.

The Met was facing questions today over its failure to apprehend a TikTok user behind a series of vile ‘pranks’ that included stealing a woman’s dog, tearing up library books and jumping into strangers’ cars.

Bacari Ogarro, an 18-year-old from Hackney, north London, who calls himself ‘Mizzy’, caused outrage last week when he broke into a random family’s home with a group of other youngsters.

In since-deleted footage, the group walks through a black door, ignoring a woman on the front lawn before entering. Mr. Ogarro then walks down the hall as the children are heard yelling ‘dad’.

The social media personality has a long history of similar stunts. One clip shows him approaching an elderly woman in a park before picking up her dog and running away from her. She later returns the animal to the owner, who is visibly distraught.

Other videos show him harassing women on a train and in a park; going into a library and destroying books; and riding an electric bike around Sainsbury’s while security guards try to stop him.

In another clip, he gets into the back of a man’s car while saying “it’s my Uber” before turning aggressive when asked to leave.

In one incident he shared, he approaches a woman in a store while pretending to be her son, only to be confronted by the brave stranger who demands he leave.

Today, former police officer Mark Williams-Thomas questioned why Mr. Ogarro had not been prosecuted.

He said: “There is now enough evidence for the Met Police to arrest the vile and idiotic TiKTok/YouTuber ‘Mizzy’ (Bacari Ogarro) for at least criminal mischief and assault. He has also documented all of her crimes, so he will help with the prosecution.

Mr. Ogarro’s TikTok account has been deleted.

His YouTube, which has almost 39,000 subscribers, was still active this morning.

Just after noon it went offline, with a message saying it had violated the platform’s terms of service.

In Mr. Ogarro’s latest video, posted yesterday, he bragged about how his videos had “exploded” from outrage over his “home invasion” video.

And he bragged that criticism of his sick stunts only helped him generate more views and engagement.

Mr. Ogarro was previously filmed approaching an elderly woman in the park before picking up her dog and running off with it.

‘You are on social media giving me what you want. You’re commenting on these videos, hooking…it’s making my ting pop,” she says.

Then a friend shows up and says to the camera, ‘All you’re doing is helping our mission…keep reinforcing the narrative of the message we’re trying to say…it’s a movement, bro.’

Ogarro has previously been arrested for harassing Orthodox Jews in London, with video showing him approaching a man at a bus stop before putting his hands on his victim’s shoulders and attempting to jump.

In a second video, he could be seen riding a bike while wearing a traditional hat and saying: ‘Guys, I’m a fucking Jew.’

MPs have joined calls for the Met to take urgent action to stop it.

Labor MP Alex Davies-Jones said: “This content is disturbing and disturbing.

‘Yet another example of how we desperately need the Online Safety Bill to hold social media platforms accountable.

‘YouTube and TikTok seem happy to allow this irresponsible content to proliferate on their platforms. It is unacceptable.

Susan Hall, leader of the Tory caucus in the London Assembly, said: “No legitimate social media platform should host this thug’s vile videos,” she tweeted.

“Please can you urgently update the public on what is being done to track down and apprehend this criminal.”

On Sunday, the Met told the Express that they were “aware of the images circulating on social media and are investigating the circumstances.”

Officers are conducting investigations to establish the locations and those involved.

‘We are looking forward to speaking to anyone with any information that might help. Contact police at 101 or @MetCC and quote 4160 CAD/May 16.’

MailOnline has contacted the Met.
