Do you see an upsidedown guitar or a girl's face? The answer reveals what you want out of a relationship

Optical illusions can tell a lot about your personality and how you perceive the world.

A new brain teaser was designed to tell people about their love language and the type of person they seek for a partner.

A colorful image invites viewers to consider what they see first – there are two options in the illusion.

One of the choices suggests you see emotional and psychological aspects of a person’s character more important.

While the other symbolizes creativity and a unique personality -so what do you see?

Do you see an upsidedown guitar or a girl’s face? The answer reveals what you want out of a relationship

You saw either a woman or upside down guitar, according to a TikTok account, PicPsy, which shared the image.

If you see a girl with black hair and red lips, it means you have a protective desire to care for the one you love. ‘you might emotional and psychological aspects.’

That means you strive to protect and care for your partner.

And the TikTok video also noted that you value emotional understand and a connection above all when it comes to a partner.

You value emotional connections and understanding the most and are ‘seeking deep spiritual communications, not just superficial interactions,’ the video shared.

Finally, you’re thoughtful when it comes to love and do not make decisions lightly but when decide, you are resolute.

Seeing an upside-down guitar reveals that when it comes to relationships, you want to ‘experience unique and novel experiences with your partner, seeking a love story that stands out from the rest,’ shared the video.

While this optical illusion can perhaps explain the inner workings of the heart, the question remains why does one person see a guitar while the other sees a woman?

The answer is simply that optical illusions take advantage of a shortcut the brain uses when it processes images.

Have you ever done a brain teaser where all the letters were mixed together except the first and the last, but you could still read the sentence?

This is because the brain doesn’t actually read the word in its entirety, but instead takes shortcuts, skipping over some letters so you can process the information faster.

Similarly, when you look at an optical illusion, your brain is cutting corners, looking for the most basic information to identify what you’re looking at, and guessing what the full image is if it isn’t complete.

But what you’ll notice is the longer you look at the image, the more possibilities you might see.

In 2011, researchers from the University of Glasgow, found that when something is unclear to the eye, the mind will predict what it’s going to see and fill in the blanks.

‘Effectively, our brains construct an incredibly complex jigsaw puzzle using any pieces it can get access to,’ explained researcher Fraser Smith.

‘These are provided by the context in which we see them, our memories, and our other senses.’

‘Sometimes the brain’s guess can be so convincing that we see visual illusions,’ Smith’s co-author, Lars Muckli, from the University’s Institute of Neuroscience and Psychology, added.

‘The brain’s main function is to minimize surprise – that is what it has evolved to do.’
