Kate’s giggles after inflating her life jacket

In this popular clip, the Princess of Wales was full of laughter while trying on an emergency lifejacket and inflating it as she wore it around her neck when visiting an aircraft hangar

In this popular clip, the Princess of Wales was full of laughter while trying on an emergency lifejacket and inflating it as she wore it around her neck when visiting an aircraft hangar.

The moment was filmed during Kate’s visit to Royal Navy Air Station in Yeovilton. The princess is commodore-in-chief of the Fleet Air Arm as of last month.

Filmed trying on an inconspicuous-looking camouflage lifejacket, the Princess beamed but looked a little apprehensive as she prepared to inflate the device.

As she pulled on the toggle, she closed her eyes and winced as the device inflated quickly and with force, just as it would in an emergency situation.

Appearing a little taken aback by the fast inflation, Kate burst into a fit of giggles, before staff aided her in removing the lifejacket.

After the exercise, Louise Evans-Hughes, a leading survival equipment technician, revealed she knew exactly what was going to happen the moment the lifejacket inflated.

She said: ‘I told the princess there might be a bit of a bang because sometimes when the Velcro rips open there is a bit of a noise.

‘I think that was why she was a bit apprehensive to pull it. As soon as she pulled it, it inflated.

‘I gave the princess the option whether she wanted to put it on or whether one of my colleagues would put it on.

‘I didn’t know if she would or not, but it was really nice that she got hands-on and got really engaged in what we do and making the kit work.’

Woman buys €200 live lobster at a restaurant so she can set it free

It was a lobster's lucky day when a compassionate diner ordered the crustacean for a whopping ¿200, only to set the creature free and release it back into the sea again

It was a lobster’s lucky day when a compassionate diner ordered the crustacean for a whopping €200, only to set the creature free and release it back into the sea again

They say if if you love something, you should set it free – and it seems one woman has chosen to live by this motto, if this footage is anything to go by.

It was a lobster’s lucky day when a compassionate diner ordered the crustacean for a whopping €200, only to set the creature free and release it back into the sea again.

The anonymous Swiss tourist had ordered the Catalan-style lobster with linguine while dining at swanky seafood restaurant Gente di Mare, in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, Italy with her husband.

But when the live lobster was brought to the couple’s table, fellow diners couldn’t believe their eyes when the tourist freed it into water before chefs got the chance to cook it.

Antonio Fasolino, who co-owns the restaurant with his brother, Gianluca, and who also witnessed the bizarre moment said: ‘At first, I thought she was joking. T

‘Then, I understood that the lady was serious and wanted to do a good deed. Seeing her joy and excitement, I was moved, too.’

MailOnline's Shivali Best got hands-on with the iPhone 15 Pro to see what all the fuss is about in this TikTok video

MailOnline’s Shivali Best got hands-on with the iPhone 15 Pro to see what all the fuss is about in this TikTok video

Apple unveiled four new devices at an event earlier this month – the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The top of the range – iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max – boast a number of impressive features including a new Action Button, a titanium finish, and a USB-C charger.

But with prices ranging from £999 to £1,599, is it really worth splashing the cash? MailOnline’s Shivali Best got hands-on with the iPhone 15 Pro to see what all the fuss is about in this TikTok video.

Shivali said: ‘Upon receiving my iPhone 15 Pro and eagerly opening the box, the first thing that caught my eye was the new titanium design.

‘While Apple has previously used stainless steel to build its iPhones, the tech giant has opted for a premium alloy in its Pro range – and it certainly feels premium.

‘Titanium has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any metal, which means it feels solid in the hand, yet the iPhone is surprisingly light.’

Woman sparks outrage after ‘spreading her brother’s ashes’ in an Ibiza club pool

This shocking footage shows a woman claiming to sprinkle her brother’s ashes into a busy swimming pool at a club in Ibiza.

In a post she shared on TikTok, the woman appears to scatter a grey dusty substance in the shallow waters at the popular party venue, Ushuaia.

As she pours she dances along to the music in the background and is surrounded by unsuspecting revellers. She then smiles and laughs at the camera before continuing to party.

In her post she says: ‘Just me sprinkling my brother about Ushuaia.’

Some TikTok users appeared disgusted, with one commenting that her behaviour was ‘dirty’.

The adults-only Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel in the resort of Playa d’en Bossa is incredibly popular among British tourists flocking to Ibiza.

The King and Queen’s windy arrival to France

In another popular TikTok clip, Queen Camilla was filmed seemingly experiencing a ‘Marilyn moment’ as she touched down in France last week when a gust of wind took her by surprise.

The royal, 76, climbed down the plane in a dusky pink wool crepe coat dress by Fiona Clare with a Charlotte Elizabeth crossbody beige handbag, which was paired with a show-stopping hat from milliner Philip Treacy.

But the headpiece, which was the star of her outfit, almost blew off her head when the strong winds struck, forcing the Queen to hold the hat on. Meanwhile, the skirt of her dress fanned out as the wind took hold.

Professional as ever, Camilla rectified the mishap within seconds as she descended the steps of the aircraft at Paris airport to join her husband, King Charles, on his first state visit to France since he ascended the throne.

It is not the first time Camilla has grappled with the elements to ensure her hat remains perfectly placed on her head – as an outing in Leicester saw her battle with the same issue.

During the trip to a market in the East Midlands town in February 2022, the British wintry weather almost got the better of Camilla, who was then Duchess of Cornwall – before she again regained control of her outfit.

Gymnastics Ireland apologises for ‘racism’ after viral video showed young black girl being skipped during medal ceremony

Another clip explained how Gymnastics Ireland became embroiled in a racism row after a video showed a young black competitor being skipped over during a medal ceremony as her white peers were each given an award.

Olympic champion Simone Biles condemned the ‘heartbreaking’ incident and said she had sent a video of support to the young girl after her parents reached out.

The Team USA gymnast was among scores online condemning the actions of the official, writing on X: ‘There is no room for racism in any sport or at all!!!!’

The video, which was taken in March last year, shows a lineup of young gymnasts awaiting their awards, with the little girl excitedly waiting for her medal before being overlooked.

After reemerged footage of the incident went viral this week, Gymnastics Ireland issued a public apology for the incident, after the girl’s parents said the alleged snub was due to racism.

The Irish sporting body claimed the issue had been settled in August, but the young girl’s mother has denied this, claiming that the family had not received a genuine apology.

The sports body said it ‘engaged immediately’ with the competitor’s parents following their complaint over the incident.

Speaking a year after the incident, the girl’s mother said the family were ‘very upset’ at how their daughter had been treated by Gymnastics Ireland and that they believe she was ignored because she is black, the Irish Independent reported.

Many have pointed out that the official walked off with the last remaining medal at the end of the clip, with all the children in the lineup receiving one apart from the girl.

Gymnastics Ireland said that it engaged with the woman, who is now no longer a member of the sporting body after she chose not to renew her membership.

They claim that the issue had been settled following a mediation that concluded in August but this is denied by the mother.

Pete Davidson is ‘dating’ Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline

Elsewhere, popular footage reveals how Pete Davidson has reportedly sparked up a budding romance with Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline – only one month after his split from Chase Sui Wonders.

The Saturday Night Live alum, 29, who joked about having ‘post-rehab glow’ following treatment after using ketamine, recently ‘spent the night’ with the 25-year-old star at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a source told Us Weekly.

The insider expressed: ‘Pete and Madelyn are dating. They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning.

‘They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats,’ the source further informed the outlet.

DailyMail.com reached out to Davidson and Cline’s reps for comment in regards to the latest romance rumours.

Sophie Turner wants to return to the UK and take her children with her

This clip – popular with MailOnline viewers – explains how Sophie Turner has filed to sue her estranged husband Joe Jonas in order to try and move their two children back to her native UK.

The latest bitter twist in the pair’s messy divorce battle came on Thursday when documents filed to the US District Court in New York revealed the 27-year-old Game Of Thrones alum is petitioning ‘for the return of children to England.’

Jonas, 34, shocked fans around the world when he filed for divorce in Miami, Florida earlier this month from the mother of his two children.

It appears Turner was equally as taken aback, with the court docs revealing that the couple’s marriage quickly began to crumble after they got into a bitter spat on Jonas’ birthday, August 15.

‘Thereafter, the breakdown of the parties’ marriage happened very suddenly. The parties had an argument on August 15, 2023,’ the documents state.

‘On or about September 1, 2023, the Father filed a divorce case against the Mother in Florida. On or about September 5, 2023, the Mother found out through the media that the Father had filed for divorce.’

However, a representative for Jonas quickly hit back at the allegation and said in a statement to DailyMail.com: ‘After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce.’

He also claimed that the Florida Court ‘has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children’ and that Turner was served with the order on September 6.’

The former couple had been married for four years, and share daughters three-year-old Willa and one-year-old D.J..

In documents seen by DailyMail.com, Turner alleges that the pair had made plans to move their children to a new home in England before their split.

Strictly star Amy Dowden shares this emotional update in her breast cancer journey

In this clip, Amy Dowden shared the emotional moment she shaved her head after losing her hair during treatment for breast cancer.

The Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer, 33, called it ‘the hardest step so far’ as she posted a heartbreaking video of herself surrounded by loved ones as her hair was cut off.

Amy explained how she was ‘taking control’ after feeling like she has had ‘so much taken away from me’ since being diagnosed with breast cancer in May.

The dancer, who has been forced to sit out the 2023 series of Strictly, said she wanted to reclaim her identity after missing so much of her life as a dancer.

With the help of family and friends, who all took turns cutting a lock of Amy’s hair, the dancer tearfully confronted her new look with a smile at the end of the emotional video.

Caerphilly-born Amy, 33, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May and began chemotherapy after doctors discovered another type of cancer in her body.

The first Married at First Sight couples are revealed

Married At First Sight UK is back – and in this footage, viewers get a glimpse of some of the contestants and discover their first impressions of one another.

Series seven includes eight brides and eight grooms, with the line-up including a DJ, florist, tennis coach and model.

The series follows season six in following the Australian format, and rather than legal marriages, the couples make a lifelong commitment to one another at a glamorous ceremony, overseen by a wedding celebrant, that includes guests, bridal gowns, dancing, speeches and cake.

After the ceremony and celebrations are over, true love is well and truly put to the test, as they embark on a luxurious honeymoon, before moving in with each other and their fellow couples.

Relationships will be put under the microscope, by fellow brides and grooms at weekly dinner parties – as well as by the experts, at recurring commitment ceremonies, where couples choose whether they want to stay in or leave the process.

All this and more will build to a dramatic series finale: glossy, high-stakes vow renewals, in which each couple must decide if they will recommit to their partner or go their separate ways, for good.
