A woman shared the shocking moment a Russian man allegedly turned aggressive and threatened to attack her while she was riding the subway in Germany, thinking she was Ukrainian.

Kardelen Queck, an actress living in Germany, shared a TikTok video of herself looking visibly shaken as she can be heard begging the man to leave her alone.

The man, he said, had asked to use his internet access point before he allegedly turned threatening.

She decided to start filming on the train after the man persistently asked her where she is from, if she is Ukrainian and what she does in Germany.

Kardalen, who is half Russian, bravely refused to tell the man that she was not Ukrainian, saying she would not let him scare her, before another woman on the train stepped in to help.

Kardelen explained in the video: ‘Yesterday in Germany a Russian guy thought I’m Ukrainian and tried to attack me.

‘He asked me to use my internet for five minutes, I said sure. And then she would constantly ask me where I am from. What I’m doing in Germany. Am I Russian or Ukrainian? He is from Russia.

She alleged that the man told her in Russian that he would hit her, a threat that left her ‘trembling’.

After the incident, she said: ‘I called my husband afterwards. As a woman that was horrible, all I wanted to help, but the guy was so unpredictable and a German lady helped me, so it was a sad story.”

“As women, we are exposed to this type of behavior every day. There were a lot of people, only a German girl supported me. Never remain silent in the face of such behaviour.’

Kardalen, who has around 20,000 followers on TikTok and 55,000 on Instagram, shared the video last week to raise awareness about the often terrifying encounters women can have with men on public transport.

The German woman appears to be trying to intervene by distracting the man, speaking over him and diverting his attention from Kardalen.

The actress and influencer said the man rudely asked her to change seats and was acting ‘crazy’.

Kardalen captioned the video: “I am half Russian and my heart goes out to the Ukrainian people. I will never ever support war or any kind of violence!”

In a message of unity in the face of man’s apparent intolerance, he added: ‘No matter where you come from, be human first!’
