Post to his arrest, there were incidents of Gunfire, roadblock, and fires throughout the cities of Culiacan, Los Mochis, and Guasave. In fact, Governor Ruben Rocha Moya called for the public to shelter in a place. Even, Culiacan Airport had to be shut down after a passenger plane took gunfire. The city broke with loot and chaos, and several banks had to shut down across the state. Till now, a total of 18 casualties are reported and two police officers were also killed along with many other unreported killings across the state.
