Carrie Johnson has shown off her growing baby bump in an adorable selection of photos with her children Wilf and Romy as they prepare to welcome their new brother.

In May, the 35-year-old mother of two announced she was expecting her third child with former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Ahead of the family’s new arrival, Carrie took to Instagram to share three sweet images taken by Romy Becker as she thanked the photographer for “capturing a few moments of calm before the real fun begins.”

The first image shows the proud mother, dressed in a blue and white polka dot dress, holding her one-year-old daughter Romy above her tummy while surrounded by greenery.

“Not long now,” she captioned the photos, which also included a snapshot of Carrie walking barefoot through a field while holding her daughter, who was wearing a pink dress. Three-year-old Wilf leads the way in the picture.

Last month, Carrie posted two photos of her children sitting in a rainbow-striped hammock.

The first image shows Wilf, three, and Romy, one, happily gazing out at the lush green landscape as they bask in the sun.

The proud mom captioned the heartwarming images: “Two peas in a pod.” She then shared a closer image of her children playing together in the hammock.

Wilf, who has inherited his father’s striking blonde hair, is pictured in a red long-sleeved top and patterned shorts.

“Not long now,” she captioned the photos, which also included a snapshot of Carrie walking barefoot through a field while holding her daughter, who was wearing a pink dress. Wilf, three, leads the way in the picture.

Meanwhile, Romy was dressed in a patterned dress and had a sweet green silk bow in her light brown hair.

At the end of May, Carrie announced the happy news that she is going to become a mother of three children on Instagram.

The mother, who has almost 70,000 followers, shared a photo of her walking hand in hand with her children along with another of Romy and Wilf holding her tummy.

She captioned the images: ‘New team member arriving in just a few weeks.

“I’ve been feeling pretty drained for much of the last 8 months, but we can’t wait to meet this little guy.

Wilf is very excited to be a big brother again and has been talking about it non-stop. Don’t think Romy has any idea what’s coming…she’ll soon have it!’

Last month, Carrie shared this sweet image of her children Wilf, three, and Romy, one, sitting in a rainbow-striped hammock.

Carrie Johnson made the surprise announcement on Instagram in May. “A new member of the team will be arriving in a few weeks,” she wrote alongside a sweet photo of Wilf, three, and Romy, one year old.

Ms Johnson said she had been feeling “quite exhausted” over the past eight months but “can’t wait” to meet her new baby. In the image, one of the photos that she shared on Instagram announcing her third pregnancy.

In May 2020, it was announced that Carrie and Boris had named Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson, after their grandparents and the doctors at the hospital who treated the former prime minister for covid-19.

Romy was born at University College London Hospital in December 2021 and named after Carrie’s aunt Rosemary.

Announcing their daughter’s name, Boris and Carrie explained how Iris comes from the Greek word meaning rainbow and Charlotte was chosen as a tribute to Mr Johnson’s late mother, who they “miss so much”.

When she announced that she was pregnant with Romy, Carrie revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage in early 2021, describing her as her ‘rainbow baby’.

Boris will now become the father of eight children, having fathered two children with Carrie, four children with second wife Marina Wheeler and at least one from an affair.
