Nando’s has announced that a major revamp to its menu will be launched today, with three new items available to fans across the UK.
For the first time, the chicken restaurant chain is bringing together chicken and fries in the new fully loaded fries plate, topping the fries with melted cheddar cheese, scallions, smoky PERi-Tamer sauce and a creamy dressing.
The sharing platter, which costs just £8, was inspired by a ‘Nando’s trick’ invented by PERi-PERi fans and Nando’s employees on social media.
Shared by millions, it generated quite a stir on social media, with people pleading with Nando’s to officially add food creation to the menu. The wait is finally over as the chain is launching it as a staple on its new summer menu.
Meanwhile, the restaurant is also launching a new Feta & Pepper Dip, £4.50, for summer, as well as bringing back 2021’s guest spice and everyone’s favourite, Garlic BBQ.

The news comes after the UK network posted a teaser video for the new item on Twitterand encouraged fans to fill in the blanks of a mysterious word puzzle.
In a six-second clip, a ‘loading’ image of three hot red chillies can be seen flashing across the screen, before revealing a snippet of something delicious.
The peri peri chicken company tests its followers with a three-word caption, but it’s missing a few letters.
