A McDonald’s worker has gone viral after she packed an order for one salt packet for a customer delivered through DoorDash.

The TikToker, Paige, who frequently posts about her job at the fast-food chain showed the moment the order came through at the restaurant before she packed it up.

After she sealed up the singular salt packet in the bag, she placed it on the counter to be picked up by the food delivery driver.

It is unclear exactly where the strange order happened, but the video was posted on February 2 and has gone on to amass over 600,000 views on TikTok.

‘And that will be $15.63,’ one commenter said on the post, joking about the cost of a McDonald’s delivery order.

It is unclear how much the customer paid for the packet of salt, but according to the restaurant’s page on DoorDash there is no charge for them.

Others flocked to the post and said the same has happened to them as a Door Dasher and as a McDonald’s employee.

‘This happened at our McDonalds, they ordered a syrup cup and we gave them everything but syrup like M&Ms and mini fry cuz they kept reordering,’ someone commented.

‘I’ve ordered just a cone before,’ another admitted.

In June, another TikTok user named Jane accidentally ordered two ketchup packets from McDonald’s and was charged a total of $8.66 for them.

‘I thought I ordered a cheeseburger with two packets of ketchup sauce. And it was 8 dollars which I was like that’s good,’ Jane said in one of her videos about the bizarre moment.

In another video, she went on to pick up the small packets of ketchup and said that she thought that they ‘felt sorry’ for her as employees gifted her an additional two packets.

Jane said: ‘I can’t eat this!’
