Fighting and verbal altercations on airplanes in India have become commonplace. A new video of a man or woman screaming at the top of their lungs hits the halls of the internet and goes viral as people continue to question the civility of desis on air.

A new viral video taking the internet uproar captures two passengers getting into a heated argument as the flight crew strives to get the passengers to calm down and act civil. The video, now circulating on social media, was taken on a Vistara plane from Mumbai to Dehradun on June 25.

In the 27-second clip, a man is seen aggressively charging another man sitting across from him in a hallway. As the man yells at the top of his lungs at the passenger seated far away, a woman, presumably his wife, stops him from getting into a fight and sits him down by pulling on her shirt.

While all this is happening, the high-pitched voice of a young woman fills the air of the plane. This girl was the daughter of the agitated man, sitting away from the rest of her family. According to Vistara’s statement, “A passenger was disturbed by a young passenger sitting in line behind him. Said passenger questioned the behavior, to which the parents of the young passenger objected.

This led to a verbal altercation. It was “amicably settled with the intervention of the Vistara cabin crew on board. The remainder of the voyage after that was completed in peace.” A spokesperson also confirmed: “This matter relates to an argument between two passengers on Vistara flight UK852 en route from Mumbai to Dehradun on June 25, 2023.”

From the looks of it, the cabin crew was doing everything they could to defuse the situation while the father was there with no sign of stopping. It was then that the crew called the captain to resolve the issue.

Even though the father was visibly angry with the other passenger and was heard yelling at the top of his lungs, “How dare you threaten my daughter?” He was non-aggressive towards crew members trying to resolve the issue at hand.

The internet was up in arms after seeing the video. After a quick sweep of the comments on the video, anyone would discover that people on the internet were rarely in favor of the girl screaming in the clip. Everyone agreed that this was just another case of a spoiled brat whom people called “Papa ki pari”.

At least show the real reason why the girl was pushing the seat the man was sleeping on and the man just told her not to do that. They are not daughters they are papa ki Parii.
