In a recent video, Chu detailed the three low-calorie foods that make him ‘feel stuffed,’ starting with homemade spring rolls

'If I eat 12 of these spring rolls, it comes out to less than 700 calories, but I feel like I've just eaten over 1,200 calories,' he said 'If I eat 12 of these spring rolls, it comes out to less than 700 calories, but I feel like I've just eaten over 1,200 calories,' he said

Eat up! Three low-calorie foods that will make you ‘feel stuffed’

  • Homemade spring rolls with rice paper
  • Potatoes
  • Rice cakes with yogurt and fruit

‘I’m in an 800 calorie deficit, and I’m always hungry,’ he admitted.

Chu’s first recommendation was homemade spring rolls, which he makes with rice paper, vegetables, and either shrimp, beef, or chicken for a high-protein treat.

‘When I say you need to eat spring rolls, I mean it,’ he said, insisting they are ‘by far the most filling thing’ on his list.

‘If I eat 12 of these spring rolls, it comes out to less than 700 calories, but I feel like I’ve just eaten over 1,200 calories,’ he explained. ‘So basically it fills you up the same as a huge Chipotle burrito.’

Next on Chu’s list were potatoes because they are both versatile and filling.

‘If you are always eating rice with your meat, switch to potatoes,’ he advised. ‘I know that is crazy to say as a Korean, but trust me. They’re pretty low in calories and really filling.

‘The best part is you can make them into things you normally wouldn’t eat on a diet, like loaded fries, while still hitting your calorie goal,’ he added.

Chu ended his list with rice cakes, which serve as the base of his favorite high-protein, low-calorie dessert.

3 Low Calorie Foods I’ve been eating Non-Stop that make me full despite being in a steep caloric deficit👇 Spring rolls. When I say you NEED to eat spring rolls, I mean it. It is by far the most filling thing on this list. I eat 12 of these spring rolls and it comes out less than 700 calories but I feel like I’ve just eaten over 1200 calories. Plus it’s extremely high protein if you add in some shrimp, beef, or chicken since the rest of the roll is just veggies and the rice paper, which comes out to less than 20 calories per roll. Potatoes. If you’re always eating rice with your meat, switch to potatoes. I know that’s crazy to say as a Korean, but trust me. They are pretty slow calorie and really filling. The best part is you can make them into things you normally won’t eat like loaded fries while still hitting your calorie goal. Rice cakes. Everyone hates on these but try this recipe I recently made. Some vanilla yogurt with frozen berries on top of a caramel or apple cinnamon rice cake is the sweet, tarty, low calorie treat that I never knew I needed. #fitness #diettips #wieghtloss #caloriedeficit #weightlossfood #caloriedeficitmeals #lowcalorie #lowcalorierecipe #lowcaloriesnacks #lowcaloriemeals #lowcaloriefood

‘Bro this is making me less stressed,’ one fan responded. ‘I’ve been getting bored of my food and was so close to giving up.’

‘Rice cakes are sooo goated,’ someone else added. ‘I could eat [an] entire sleeve in one sitting.’

‘I make spring rolls weekly. I get full off 3-4 lol,’ another shared.

Others were confused by Chu’s calorie deficit and thought he was only eating 800 calories a day.
