Emma Raducanu is sidelined for the remainder of the year due to injury, which dashed her hopes of an Autumn comeback, but it’s given her the chance for a glamorous outing to Paris Fashion Week.

The tennis champion, 20, made a sartorial statement in a monochrome lace dress and boots from the brand’s Resort 2024 collection as she attended the Dior’s Spring/Summer 2024.

Emma – who is the sixth-highest earning tennis player in the world – looked happier than ever as she arrived at the Tuileries Garden show arm-in-arm with Harrow-educated boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli, son of a billionaire banker.

The couple are rumoured to have been dating since July after being spotted leaving Oswald’s in Mayfair.

Emma’s exquisite mid-length dress featured a square neck and breezy silhouette, elevated by panels of intricate lace. She accessorised with patent knee-high boots, mirroring the full runway look.

She joined The Queen’s Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who stunned in a vinyl jacket and shorts, Rachel Zegler, who played Maria in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, and Jenna Ortega, who starred as Wednesday in Netflix’s Addams Family spin-off.

Other actresses included Elizabeth Debicki, The Crown’s Diana, wearing a chic all-black ensemble, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron.

Recognised attendees were of course decked out in outfits by the coveted French fashion house.

Emma was announced as a Dior ambassador in 2021 shortly after reaching round four of the Wimbledon tournament. She then went on to win the US Open.

It wasn’t long before the fashion world came calling – with the tennis champion signing up to become an ambassador for Tiffany & Co and racking up appearances at the Met Gala and the London premiere of No Time to Die.

Naturally, Emma made a dazzling appearance in Dior at the latter. Her ethereal gown boasted a Grecian-inspired design and sparkling silver embellishment.

Since then, she has been working closely with Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri on a number of campaigns and collaborations.

She has also joined forces with British Airways and Vodafone.

Last week, the tennis player revealed she will be sidelined for the remainder of the year.

She was forced to miss the US Open, as well as the French Open and Wimbledon earlier this year, after undergoing operations on both wrists and one ankle at the beginning of May.

Emma, who fell out of the world’s top 200 this week, had hoped of an autumn comeback after she returned to the practice court last month.

But she told BBC Sport: ‘Next season I’ll be back. This season all the slams were finished so it was difficult to watch them go by but I was trying to stay in my lane as much as possible and keep focused on my recovery.’

Emma also appeared in a nine-minute-long advert for HSBC’s financial education programme.

In the commercial, which saw her reading revised fairy tales, Emma told girls they don’t need men to succeed.

She read from Fairer Tales by Emma Dodd that revisit Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel with a fresh take, in which Prince Charming is written out as a main character.

Emma said: ‘Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel are all successful young women.

‘They have used their brains, imagination and good sense to earn enough money to look after themselves without a Prince Charming in sight.

‘What a great story. So in the end, the princesses didn’t need a prince to save them.

‘They set up their own businesses, saved their money and spent it very wisely.’
