Blue-tiful looking! Queen Máxima of the Netherlands is seen in a floral dress as she attends the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein in Jordan to King Willem-Alexander.
Queen Máxima of the Netherlands looked effortlessly elegant in a blue floral dress as she arrived for the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein in Jordan this afternoon.
The 52-year-old European monarch opted for a dress with a V-neckline and flowing sleeves for the occasion.
The mother of three was seen arriving at Zahran Palace in Amman on the arms of her husband, King Willem-Alexander, 56.
As the couple entered the palace, they were greeted by Crown Prince Hussein’s proud parents, King Abdullah II, 61, and Queen Rania, 52.
Maxima’s stunning gown featured billowing sheer sleeves, making it ideal for today’s 31°C temperatures.

Cinched at the waist with a ribbon, the striking chiffon A-Line dress featured a delicate blue floral pattern.
In addition, Máxima combined her accessories with the color of her beautiful summer dress.
The royal wore a long silver necklace with an array of blue jewels and matching drop earrings.
She also carried a navy blue shell-shaped woven tote bag to carry her essentials.
Tying up her glamorous ensemble, Maxima styled her blonde hair in Hollywood-style waves.
Elegant royals love smoky eyes for everyday royal engagements, but she opted for something more dramatic for today’s royal wedding.
To offset her nude lipstick, Maxima layered a navy eyeshadow stick and highlighter on the high points of her face to give her a bronzed glow.
Meanwhile, King Willem-Alexander was just as dapper in a navy suit and light blue tie, matching the exact shade of his wife’s dress.

The Rajwa bride was stunning in a white gown for the occasion, which featured a long flower-embroidered train and a sparkling diamond tiara.
It was given as a gift by Crown Prince Hussein’s brother, Prince Hashem, who walked arm in arm with her through the palace gardens.
The mother of three offered a curtsey to both King Abdullah and Queen Rania, before the four chatted for a while.
The attendance of the British royal, who was seen at a luxury hotel in Amman last night, was kept secret and was only confirmed by Jordanian state media a few hours before the start of the palace ceremony.
But it’s perhaps no surprise that Kate and William made the trip to the Middle East, as they both no doubt share a fondness for Jordan.
The country especially holds special memories for the Princess; the Middleton family spent three years there in the early 1980s, when Kate was just two, after her father, Michael, a British Airways manager, was transferred to Amman for work.
Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice arrived moments after Kate and William, holding hands with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
